I loveee spaghetti! And I love to add veggies to my sauce to make the points spread a little further! If you can add veggies to anything (0 points!!), I will!
Here we go:
- 3 DiRusso Turkey sausage links
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 green or red pepper, chopped
- 1 can Light Ragu
- 2-3 carrots, washed, not peeled, and chopped
- 1 zucchini or cucumber chopped (I prefer zucchini but I’ll use a cucumber if I feel like it)
- A few cloves of garlic (I use real garlic & dice it w/my Pampered Chef Garlic Press (buy one!), but you can used minced garlic if you want
- 1 box of Ronzoni Smart Taste Thin Spaghetti noodles
Chop up the turkey sausage (once again, I use a Pampered Chef tool, the Mix & Chop, for this) when it gets hot enough in the pan. Throw in the onion & pepper (lol… I use the Pampered Chef Chopper for all of this chopping…). Sauté together w/garlic :) drain. Add carrots, zucchini (more garlic can be added if you prefer), & ragu. Let simmer 15-30 minutes.
Enjoy w/noodles :)
Add some Reduced Fat Parmesan Cheese if you're one of THOSE people, lol ;)
