WW Meeting

I went to my first Weight Watchers Meeting today w/a friend of mine who's a member! I think a lot of people just figured I was a member or at least joined online, but I literally just bought the books & Jessica taught me the rest!

Anywho... I'm considering joining b/c it's free to join now; you just have to pay $13 dollars for one meeting. However, if you want to attend the meetings, it's $40 a month. The store near me has meetings every Wednesday at 9:30 & I'm pretty sure that it'd fit into my schedule! It was definitely nice to attend a meeting for free though w/o paying. So everyone, find a buddy who's a member & go to a meeting!! Lol. But now I want to become a remember even more b/c I learned a TON & it's great support.

Here's what I couldn't wait to share!

First, I'd like to share a recipe for Kale chips:
(everyone there who's had them RAVEDDDD about them!!)

Place Kale on a cookie sheet w/olive oil sprayed on the bottom of the cookie sheet, and again on the top of the Kale. No foil. & Make sure it's dry before you bake it. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes; you'll be able to smell it, but be careful it doesn't burn. Remove from cookie sheet immediately & allow to cool.


We also talked about a few products I haven't tried before!
Promise butter! It comes in regular, light, and fat free :) 0 points for the fat free kind!
(couldn't find a picture online, so this is literally the picture I just took of the tub I bought on my way home from the meeting!!) And Of course I tried it w/a slice of banana bread, DELICIOUS! Can't even tell it's fat free!
Then, we talked about those Shirataki noodles I saw on Dr. Oz. Apparently, you can get them at Giant Eagle!! They said they're in the cooler section, by the Tofu.

Tomorrow, I'm cleaning out my pantry's and moving my stuff onto a designated shelf for all MY stuff, and I'm hiding anything bad in colored containers (instead of clear) and tucking it away. Whether it's buried deep into the pantry or fridge, if I can't SEE it, I can't put it in my mouth!
